Food was never just food in our home.

It was how we stayed close. How we apologised without saying sorry. How we celebrated, even when life felt heavy.

Mum cooked the way some people write letters — every dish said something. About love. About sacrifice. About where we came from.

The smell of Vietnamese coffee slowly dripping. Fresh herbs being chopped. Broth simmering for hours. That was the soundtrack of our childhood. Those flavours shaped us. They became part of our identity.

In 2024, we turned those memories into something real. We opened our doors and brought Oak Ca Phe to life — a family business rooted in everything she taught us. Not just recipes, but intention. Care. Pride in where we come from.

Today, we stand in the kitchen carrying her legacy forward, recreating the dishes we grew up on with the same patience and respect. Nothing rushed. Nothing without meaning.
